Driving in Malta can be challenging due to the narrow roads in some areas. However, with a little patience and attention, it is possible to navigate the roads safely. The speed limit on Maltese roads varies depending on the type of road, for example on the freeways is 80 km/h, on the main roads is 50 km/h and in urban areas, 25 km/h.
