However, if you want to enjoy the beaches and the sun, then it’s best to visit Malta during the summer months. The best time to visit the island is from May to September, when temperatures are pleasant and there is less rainfall.
If you’re looking to avoid the heat and the crowds, the spring and fall months are a good time to visit. The weather is still pleasant, but it’s a bit cooler and the crowds are smaller. The temperatures are around 20-25°C (68-77°F) during the day and it’s less humid.
If it’s raining, you can visit one of Malta’s museums, such as the National Museum of Archaeology or the Malta Maritime Museum. Alternatively, you can spend your time shopping in one of the island’s shopping centers.
